    why is it name Moriah? because of the good mor that is there.
    english is not my natural language, sorry if its bad

  3. The English and Yiddish do not in any way reflect the chorus, rather, they are a translation of the first part of the song.

    BTW, your translation is not bad, I would change the word "name" to "called" (why is it "called" Moriah...)

    It is so named because of the myrrh (spice/incense) that grows [was brought up in the Temple era] thereupon
